Old protest video and photos resurface alongside fabricated ‘anti-Korea protest in China’ claim

South Korean social media users have shared old footage and images from protests in anti-Chinese posts that falsely claim they show an "anti-Korea protest in China". In fact, the video was taken by AFP during an anti-Japan demonstration in China in 2012. One of the photos of a burning Japanese flag has been altered to look like a South Korean flag, while the other picture has appeared in news reports about an Indonesian anti-Korea protest in 2013.
