Police Clash With Pro-Palestine Protesters in the Streets of Paris

    Police and protesters were seen clashing in the streets of Paris, France, amid pro-Palestinian demonstration that gathered thousands of people, according to local reports, on Saturday, October 28.Footage recorded by French videographer Luc Auffret shows a police in riot gear marching through the streets of Paris.Subsequently, images show the police striking protesters and eventually apprehending one of the demonstrators, with one officer observed using a baton to strike the protester after they were restrained.The Paris Police Prefecture announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the demonstration in support of Palestine was banned with the risk of arrest or fines for participants.According to local reports citing French officials, 21 people were arrested by the Police and 1,359 fines were issued on Saturday, October 28, in Paris.
