Police: Driver shot on I-695 during road rage incident

Police said a driver was taken to Shock Trauma after they were shot while driving on I-695 Tuesday afternoon. According to Maryland State Police, officers responded to eastbound I-695 at Ritchie Highway for the report of a road rage incident with shots fired. Police said the victim was travelling east, when for unknown reasons, the suspect fired shots, hitting the victim's car and the victim. The victim was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.
