Police increase presence after assault at Centennial Park

Howard County police said officers are increasing patrols at Centennial Park. The increased alertness comes after a 24-year-old woman reported she was struck by a man while on a jogging trail at the park. The victim told police that a man grabbed her from behind and struck her around 6:30 a.m. Monday.
