Pomerleau-Canam wins $729M contract to build new Olympic Stadium roof

    The Groupe Construction Pomerleau-Canam (GCPC) has been hired to dismantle and reconstruct the roof and technical ring of Montreal's Olympic Stadium. The Olympic Park signed a $729-million contract with GCPC Feb. 23, taxes not included. Quebec has earmarked a budget of $870 million for this project in early February.The GCPC will also be responsible for annual inspections of — and repairs to — the roof for 10 years.
