Sacramento County standoff ends after armed man shot by deputies

A standoff between an armed man and Sacramento deputies at an apartment complex lasted for hours before deputies shot the man, eventually resulting in him going to the hospital. The standoff started around 5:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on 4735 Marconi Ave. in the Carmichael area, a spokesperson with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.
