Senators to Introduce Resolution Warning Iran Not to Expand Conflict

U.S. senators plan to introduce a bipartisan resolution warning Iran from expanding the conflict in Gaza into a wider regional war. U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R, S.C.) and Richard Blumenthal (D, Conn.) , appearing Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union, are backing the non-binding resolution as hostilities heat up on Israel’s northern border with Iran-backed militia group Hezbollah in Lebanon. The resolution would arrive as Iran’s proxy forces in Syria and Iraq escalate attacks on U.S. troops in those countries.
