Sentencing delayed in New Albany double murder case

    Aug. 28—NEW ALBANY — A sentencing hearing for a New Albany man convicted of killing two people last year has been moved to October. Cherok Douglass was convicted of the 2022 murders of his wife, Brandee Douglass, and a bystander, Lorin Yelle, by a Floyd County jury earlier this month.
