Shots fired at police executing search warrant in east Calgary

Police say shots were fired in the direction of officers Thursday as they were executing a search warrant at a residence in the east Calgary community of Penbrooke Meadows.The situation, which began around 3:30 p.m., is ongoing and police are asking nearby residents to shelter in place. The residence is located in the 300 block of Penswood Way S.E.Police report that there were no injuries as of around 5 p.m.More to come …
