    The resignation of Martyn Brabbins as the Music Director of English National Opera is the latest calamity for a company which is still reeling from Arts Council England’s decision last November to axe its £12million funding unless it relocates outside London. While support for the beleaguered organisation has been strong, and a reprieve of sorts was given last summer to allow it more time to move to another city and develop a new business model, there is no doubt that ENO faces a very uncertain
