"The Way Home" follows three generations of women – Kat, her daughter Alice, and Kat's estranged mother Del. After life-changing events, Kat left her small farm town 20 years ago and has been estranged from Del since. Alice hasn't met her grandmother and is unaware of the family's history. When Kat's marriage ends and she loses her job, she returns home following an unexpected letter from Del. The reunion isn't what Kat expected, but the three women embark on an enlightening journey to reconnect as a family.
