This Will Drive Bond Yields This Week

Bond yields gained to kick off the year last week. The weight of incoming Treasury sales should determine where they go next. Most of the onus is on private investors as the Federal Reserve has backed off from buying Treasuries, as part of its quantitative tightening campaign, a tool to reduce the amount of liquidity in the market to control inflation.
