Treasury Yields Jump After Inflation Data

    A hotter-than-expected reading on wholesale-level inflation has provided another boost to Treasury yields. In recent trading, the yield on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note was 4.307%, according to Tradeweb, compared with 4.239% Thursday. Yields rose even more on shorter-term Treasurys, which are more sensitive to the near-term outlook for interest rates set by the Federal Reserve.
