U.N. Says 1.4 Million Gazans Internally Displaced

Around 1.4 million people have been displaced within the Gaza Strip because of the war with Israel, the U.N.’s humanitarian coordination office said Friday. The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said another 352 Palestinians were killed in a 24-hour period ending on Friday afternoon in Gaza, citing Palestinian authorities. It said since the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, in which 1,400 Israelis were killed, 4,137 Palestinians have been killed.
