UPDATE 1-German inflation eases to 2.7% in February

German inflation eased in February to 2.7%, in line with expectations, preliminary data from the federal statistics office showed on Thursday. German consumer prices, harmonised to compare with other European Union countries, had risen by 3.1% year-on-year in January. Compared with January, consumer prices were up 0.6%.
