STORY: The moon rover of India's Chandrayaan-3 exited the spacecraft and rolled out on the lunar surface on Thursday (August 24) to begin exploring the surface of the lunar south pole and conducting experiments.Indian Space Research Organisation posted the rover's first steps on the lunar surface on social media platform "X."The Indian Space Research Organisation released video of the moon 's surface captured by the Chandrayaan-3 lander during its descent on Wednesday (August 23).The Chandrayaan-3 is expected to remain functional for two weeks, running a series of experiments including a spectrometer analysis of the mineral composition of the lunar surface.
