What’s on TV tonight: Trigger Point, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and more

Trigger Point ITV1, 9pm Jed Mercurio dramas, whether they be medical procedurals (Cardiac Arrest) or action thrillers (Line of Duty), tend to share a propensity both for launching straight into the action and killing off lead characters. In bumping off Adrian Lester at the outset, the first series of Trigger Point, written by Daniel Brierley and produced by Mercurio’s HTM Television, fell neatly into line and makes watching this sequel a deliciously unsettling experience. Dare they eliminate Vic
