WHO director-general says “fear, death, destruction, loss” are everywhere in Gaza

At a World Health Organization briefing on Thursday, Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said more than 8,500 people in Gaza and 1,400 people in Israel have been killed since Hamas’s attack on Oct. 7. Tedros said Gaza is filled with “fear, death, destruction, loss.”
