The Toyota driver extended his lead to 32.0s over team-mate Sebastien Ogier, while chief title rival Hyundai’s Ott Tanak held third, 46.1s adrift. Rovanpera and Tanak shared the spoils across the pair of Sunday morning stages.
Rovanpera will secure a maiden world title if he clinches the rally win and picks up at least two points on the powerstage.
